The Standard Recess L frame is 52 mm Deep

Bay Poles need careful planning if used, alternatively Shutters can be butted together if not required.

Bay Poles are adjustable connectors used to join Shutters together at a 90" corner or any angled joint. often used on Bay Windows.

For 90" Corners, A Reduction of 18 mm on Shutter width is required from the front face of Frame intersection point for each end that a BP is used

For 90" Corners, A Reduction of 70 mm on Shutter width is required from the back face of Frame intersection point for each end that a BP is used

For 45" Corners, A Reduction of 47 mm on Shutter width is required from the front face of Frame intersection point for each end that a BP is used.

Please contact us with your exact angle and we can help with calculating the Bay Pole Width Reduction allowance to be made if used.

For Bay Windows, when Bay Poles are used Shutters will normally be required as actual Frame size Measurement for Width and Recess Measurement for Height,  so please either add +5mm on the width to a Recess Measurement Order or take -5mm off the Height on a Frame Size Measurement Order.

T Bars are used to strenghten Frames, exactly position panels to match Windows, similar to a Jamb upright on a Window Frame.

You can position Panel join positions from the Frame L/H side/end (max 635mm panels). we will contact you to confirm your exact positions after Order.

Shapes and Door Handle Cut Outs to Special Order.

Shutters will be supplied 5mm smaller on the Width and Height for 'Recess Size Measurement' Orders to allow for easy fitting into the Recess.

Shutters will be supplied at actual size on the Width and Height for 'Frame size Measurement' Orders with no allowance being made for fitting.

Please adjust your Width and Height Measurements accordingly if more or less clearance is needed,
